About this event

Just over a year after its groundbreaking, the Middleton Nordic Lodge will host a grand opening ceremony from 1 to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, to celebrate the new building and kick off the cross-country ski season.

The grand opening will begin with guided tours of the property (4355 Schwartz Road, Middleton), followed by speakers and presentations at 3:30 p.m., including: Dan and Natalie Erdman, who donated the land and created the vision for the community recreational space; Yuriy Gusev, Central Cross-country Skiing (CXC) director; Steve Cohan, the chairman of the CXC Skiing Foundation; Mayor Lisa Janairo; and Middleton City Administrator Bryan Gadow. Attendees will be invited to remain and mingle as they explore the lodge until about 5:30 p.m.
