About this event

Join other volunteers to help care for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve . Learn about the natural world, work in a beautiful and beloved landscape, meet new people or visit with old friends, get fresh air and exercise.

Activities may include cutting or pulling invasive plants, collecting or sowing native plant seeds, picking up litter, or putting wood chips on trails. Work is performed off-trail on uneven ground and requires bending, stooping, and lifting.

The meeting location is yet to be determined.

Groups and youth must contact the Preserve Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator to make arrangements before participating. Groups may be asked to schedule a separate group volunteer event.
