About this event
Visual art can capture many things in stasis, even music. This series of workshops, lead by local artist Matthew Braunginn, will help you discover how to make visual art driven by the sounds of music. You'll learn to let go and let the rhythms, drum beats, and melodies move through you and onto the canvas. Each week, we'll explore a different music genre, inspiring your visual genres. Register for one, two, or all three classes.
October 15th: Visual Sounds Of Jazz
October 22nd: Soul & Funk Breaks, with R&B melodies
November 5th: Fusing with Hip-Hop and Beat Loops
