About this event

If you grew up in Wisconsin you probably learned that the Winnebago occupied the area where we currently live. Learn about the history of the people indigenous to this area, and why they now call themselves Ho-Chunk. Also learn about the significant role Native Americans have played in the U.S. military. Our presenter Aaron Durfee is a proud and active member of the Ho-Chunk Nation here in Dane County, and a veteran of the U.S. military.
